Otzaar Step 1 of 7
i. You

First, who are you?

Everything in your store starts here. Nothing is shared, and nothing is sold to you that you didn’t ask for.

So we dress you for your weather.

For example: somewhere you go every winter, or where family lives.

You shop
Your age

So the store, the fits and the mannequins suit where you are in life.

You are…
ii. Connect

Let us see your week.

Your store is only as good as what it knows. Your calendar tells us what you’re dressing for. Your receipts tell us what you already own. Your zip or postcode tells us the weather.

i

Your calendar

Weddings, trips, meetings, holidays. Each date becomes a look, ready in time.

ii

Your receipts

Forward any order confirmation to your own closet address (we’ll send it with your store), and what you bought lands in your closet. We never go into your inbox.

iii

Your weather

From the zip or postcode you gave us, and any city on your calendar. Rain on a trip, a heatwave at home.

On
Read-only, always. We read the dates on your calendar and the receipts you forward, nothing else. We never send email as you, never change your calendar, and you can disconnect in one tap. Once you finish, we’ll send a secure link to approve each connection with Google, Microsoft or Apple directly; we never see your password.
iii. Your fit

How things fit you.

Your usual sizes, and the details only you know. Use whichever size system you know best; we convert.

The size ranges you shop

Tick all that fit. We’ll only show pieces cut for your proportions, never a bigger or smaller size of something that wasn’t made for you.

What you like
Skirt and dress lengths you like
Lengths you never wear
What you won’t wear

Inside leg, for trousers. In inches or cm, e.g. 30 or 76cm.

In any system: 40R, UK 10, EU 50.

In any system, or a shirt collar size.

For example: arms covered, skirts only, no logos at work.

iv. Your shape

Your build, dressed to fit.

Only your stylist sees this. Tap whatever we should dress around, or skip it.

Photos of you

Two or three, in daylight, standing, in clothes that show your shape: one full length if you can. We read your build, your proportions and your colouring from them. Only your stylist sees them.

Or your measurements

What to work with
Where you are right now (optional)

So we dress the body you have this season, and the one coming next. Only your stylist sees this.

Getting dressed, made easier

For example: a scar you’d rather cover, or nothing tight at the neck.

v. Colour

The colours that love you back.

Tap the ones you reach for. Then the ones you never want to see.

Add a good photo, in daylight and without filters, and your stylist will read your colouring: your skin’s undertone, your hair and your eyes. She’ll use colour theory and decades of styling experience to choose the colours that make you look most like yourself.

Tick this and skip the rest. Your stylist chooses your palette from your photos.

Colours you’d like to try

Something new you’ve been curious about. We’ll bring it in gently, near your face only if it suits you.

Your mannequin

The mannequins in your store window are made in your image. We’ll take it from the photos you added; correct us here.

vi. Your taste

Who you dress like.

The brands you trust, the people whose style you admire, the word for how you want to look.

Brands you shop

Tap any you like. We shop these first, then add others at the same level.

A few labels you always come back to, at any price.

Style icons

Anyone whose way of dressing you’d borrow from. Tap a few, or add your own below.

Someone famous, a character, a friend.

You want to look
vii. Care and fabrics

How you live with your clothes.

So nothing arrives that you’ll never wear because it itches, wrinkles or needs the dry cleaner.

Dry cleaning
Ironing
Fabrics that don’t work for you
Rules we should always follow

For example: scratchy collars, sweaters that pill, tags.

viii. Off duty

Sleep, travel and training.

The hours nobody sees still deserve good things. Tell us what you do when you’re not dressed for anyone.

How you work out
Workout clothes should be
How you sleep
How you travel

For example: training for something, a bad knee, a favourite brand you always go back to.

ix. Goals and budget

What it’s for, and what you’ll spend.

What should your clothes do for you?

Pick as many as you like. Every look we build is chosen to do these things.

$300

For a wedding, a big birthday or a grandchild. So the gifts we suggest feel right.

Buying rules

A promotion, a new role, a big birthday, feeling like yourself again.

x. Calendar and closet

What’s coming up, and what you already own.

Drop in a photo of each invitation and we’ll take it from there. Anything without an invitation, just type in.

Drop in your invitations

A photo or screenshot of an invitation, a save-the-date or a booking. We read the date, the place and the dress code for you.

Or type them in

A wedding, a work trip, a first date: anything you want to look right for.

What you already own

Show us the pieces you love and wear. We build your looks around them, and we won’t sell you something you already have.

Your favourite dress, coat, shoes, bags, scarves and jewellery. One piece or a few together per photo; on the bed or floor is fine.

Up to 24 photos. On your phone, “Take a photo” opens the camera; snap a piece, then tap it again for the next.

Your signature pieces

The things everything else should work around.

Brand and metal, if you wear one every day.

Your initials as they appear, and where (cuffs, shirts, bags).

Inherited, collected, gifted: anything we should build looks around.

The pieces you wear most: shoes, a coat, a bag, the trousers you live in.

xi. Your store

Ready when you are.

Here’s what we heard. Your first edit arrives within 48 hours, styled with what you own.
